Scholarly Study Bibles

The KJV Scholarly Study Bibles come in several different revisions, described in detail below.  Note that I will refer to the Standard Text, found in most non-Zondervan editions available today, as the Oxford Revision of 1769.  That is a much more accurate description when discussing revisions of the KJV.

All of these editions are 66-book bibles, which means that they omit the English Protestant Apocrypha (EPA).  The EPA was originally included in most revisions of the KJV, including the 1611 Edition, the Oxford Revision and the Cambridge Paragraph Bible.  KJV Reading Bibles which include the Apocrypha.

Genesis Chapter 1:  Chapter Beginning to Verse 6

For the sake of this comparison, the Cambridge Paragraph Bible (CPB) is presented in the same format as is found in the Zondervan Study Bible, as that is the primary study bible that makes use of the CPB.  Notably, Zondervan does not present the text in paragraph format!
